I always love a little bit of a designer challenge. I was asked to make a Manchester Utd logo funeral tribute for a family. So, here it is. It was 3ft diameter (1 metre) and made using white and yellow Chrysanthemum, with red carnations. I try not to use spray paint as much as possible as this can run off if it’s raining on the day.
I start out by drawing the design on paper to scale and transferring this on to designer foam board.
Then I ribbon the edge of the board with pleated ribbon, fill in with a domed effect with the white Chrysanthemum and red carnations. I think this tribute took about 6 hours to make from start to finish.
